It covers every cookie and browser storage key set by xolimeq.com from that date. If a technician's visit was booked before that date, the same categories below applied then too — this is a wording update, not a change of what gets stored.

Three categories, nothing hidden between them

Strictly necessary. Keeps the cookie banner from reappearing every page load, keeps the chat widget attached to the right conversation, and remembers that the mobile menu should stay closed until you open it. None of this needs your permission because the site can't function without it.

Analytics. Counts visits and pages so we know whether the services page or the contact form is actually getting read, aggregated, not tied to your name.

Advertising. The click identifiers from Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and Meta Ads, plus the storage that lets those platforms report which ad produced which enquiry. Both analytics and advertising storage stay off until you allow them.

Durations above are the maximum each platform documents for its own identifier; a shorter browser setting always overrides them.

Which platform attaches which identifier

Three paid channels run traffic to this site. Google Ads attaches gclid to the link a visitor clicks through from a search ad. Microsoft Advertising attaches msclkid the same way from a Bing or Microsoft ad. Meta Ads attaches fbclid where a campaign is running there. Each identifier only turns into a stored cookie once you've allowed storage — until then, we can see the parameter arrived on the URL but nothing is written to your browser because of it.

Consent Mode v2 controls all four signals

This site runs Google Consent Mode v2. Four signals — ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization and analytics_storage — default to denied on every new visit.

Allowing storage in the banner sets all four to granted. Declining, or later withdrawing consent, sets all four straight back to denied — not at the next visit, immediately.

Your current stored choice lives under the key site_consent_v2 and can be changed at any time — see the next section.

How consent is given, and how to change it

The banner appears on your first visit with two buttons: Allow storage, and Decline. Whichever you pick is written once to site_consent_v2 and Consent Mode is set to match it immediately.

To change your mind later, use Cookie settings in the footer of any page on this site. That reopens the same choice and overwrites the stored value — there's no separate settings page to hunt for.

What still works if you decline

Declining does not break the site. The repair inquiry form, the services and pricing-basis pages, the phone number and the address all work exactly the same. What stops: page-view analytics for your visit, and any advertising platform tying your click to the enquiry you submit. Practically, that means we can still schedule your repair; we just can't tell Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising which specific campaign brought you here.

Each advertising platform publishes its own account of how it handles the data described above. Google's is at policies.google.com. Microsoft's is the privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com. Meta publishes its own policy on its own site. None of these three has reviewed or endorsed xolimeq.com; they document how they process the click data they receive from any site that uses them.

Accessibility statement

This site is built with a visible focus outline on every control, a skip link to the main content, labelled form fields, and colour contrast kept dark ink on warm paper rather than low-contrast grey on grey. The navigation, the accordion-style FAQ elements, the cookie banner and the chat widget all work with a keyboard alone — tab to a control, Enter or Space to activate it, Escape to close a menu, panel or dialog.

Keyboard use

Every link, button, form field and menu item is reachable by Tab and operable without a mouse. Focus order follows the visual order of the page.

Screen readers

Icons carry no meaning on their own — every icon sits beside its own text label, and decorative icons are marked hidden from assistive technology.

Motion

Anyone with reduced-motion set in their operating system gets the same content with the hero settle and hover transitions shortened to near-instant, not skipped content.

Text and zoom

Type is sized in relative units and the layout holds at 200% browser zoom without content being cut off or overlapping.
